Something big running around in attic. It is not difficult to tell you have an animal in the home but it can be difficult to identify what sort of animal it is. I hear something in my attic. And then we had a legion of squirrels living in the attic right next to my bedroom and i could hear them running around with their little scratching feet night after night.
