If you know that is not the case you can get a dog brush and try that starting at the ends and working up i find wire ones or widely spaced bristles with rubber tips work best. It s fairly similar to brushing a real pet. Make sure to brush in the natural intended direction of the fur and use tape to get out any debris from matted areas. You have your piece of fake fur ready.
Hard to know without seeing a picture sometimes people wash their stuffed animals and put them in the dryer and it crinkles or fries the plush and you can t fix that.
